Teacher’s Day Celebration! – A cherry on the cake

“Tell me and  I forget
Teach me and I may remember
Involve me and I learn”

- Benjamin Franklin

2015 being the Silver Jubilee year of Notre Dame Badarpur, a sumptuous ‘A la Carte’ of programmes have been laid for the students just to mention a few – Turn Coat, Group/Solo dance, Group/Solo singing, Rangoli, Radio Show, Elocution, Street Play, Poster-making, G.K.Quiz, Collage, Poetry, Recitation, Folk dance, Kite making etc, but the cherry on the cake was of course, the Teacher’s day celebration.

It started with a spiritual prayer service invoking God’s blessing on all the teachers of Notre dame. Students through different programmes acknowledged the great contribution made by the teachers. They portrayed the Notre Dame Gurus as spiritual leaders who were not only preparing them to earn their livelihood but also taught them to live life fruitfully and emerge as responsible citizens of the world. The teachers were thanked by the principal, Sr.Mary Alice and Headmistress, Sr. Mary Reena for their unconditional love and support to the institution. Cards, bouquets, games, gifts and lunch followed the glittering gems in abundance.
