St.Julie’s Feast Celebrated

‘How Good is the good God’ is proclaimed by St.Julie Billiart, foundress of Notre Dame Institutions throughout the world. Her birthday was on 12th July, Sunday. Notre Dame staff and students celebrated it with great love and fervour on Monday 13th of July 2015.

The program started with the inspirational life history of St.Julie Billiart who believed in the simplicity of vision and joy in communication with all people, the goodness of God specially to those who are deprived or in any need.

A devotional prayer dance was staged, girls dressed in pure white and golden hue, adorned with sunflowers, swayed in unison as if depicting to the words – “Like a sunflower , that follows every movement of the sun, So I Turn towards you to follow you, my God. In simplicity… charity… honesty….. fidelity… I follow”

Special prayers were offered by the student council for the Notre Dame family members and for the people all over the world.

The campus echoed with laughter and cheer as prizes were announced for elocution, dance and the most coveted Sweta Memorial award. This award was rightfully bagged by Abhilasha of Std. IX B.

All the students looked happy with “munch” to munch.
