Where did my childhood go?
It went to some forgotten place,
That is hidden in an infant’s face

On Friday 11th October 2013, Notre Dame School hoisted “World of Children”. The Chief Guest for the programme was the first lady of N.T.P.C. Badarpur, Mrs.Kasturi Sarcar ( wife of Mr.Debasis Sarcar, GM N.T.P.C. Badarpur). The Julie hall was cosily packed with young parents.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp, presentation of bouquet and a welcome speech by Arihant of K.G. – II. The parents were enthralled by the variety of programme presented to them by the darlings with great panache.
The ‘little wonders’ danced to the zesty beats swaying their limbs to the latest number - ‘Barso re megha barso’ ! The Hindi skit ‘Chandrama ka sandesh’ was a very intelligent dramatization of ‘live and let live’. The students pleaded for peace to prevail on earth. The action song and western dance were exhibited in bright scintillating costumes. It seemed as if we all were transported to a fairy land.
Towards the end the chief guest Mrs.Kasturi Sarcar gave a very interesting speech. she praised the Sisters, teachers and students for the wonderful presentation.
Principal, Sr.Mary Alice thanked the teachers for their hard work and made the parents aware of the immense responsibilities that they have towards their children and society. she assured them of her support and prayers.
Headmistress, Sr.Mary Reena proposed the vote of thanks and appealed to one and all present to take care of Mother Earth.
